SUSTAINABLE FABRICS MADE IN EUROPE
Kauniste fabrics are made in Europe from spinning of the yarns to printing and sewing of the final product. We emphazise high quality manufacturing and natural materials.
Our signature fabric combines linen with cotton. Linen is a durable and sustainable fiber which does not need artificial irrigation or pesticides in production.
The linen & cotton fabric is woven and printed in a factory using only renewable energy sources. The water used in printing process is filtered and then recycled back to use.
Kauniste fabrics are printed with solvent free, non-toxic inks. The fabric production follows Oekotex standards making sure there is no chemical residues on the textiles which could be harmful to human health.
WOODEN TRAYS FROM THE NORDIC FOREST
Our birch veneer trays are great for serving breakfast or for a fika coffee break at home. The trays are dishwasher safe.
All Kauniste trays are made from FCS certified wood from the Nordic forests. This means that the forests are sustainably cultivated. No water or solvents are used in production of trays.
The trays are tested for safety to make sure they do not emit any dangerous substances when in contact with food.
Our goal is always to make patterns and products which last past seasons. We want to help you extend the product life-cycle to lower the environmental footprint of the product. Please read more about product care in footnotes section.
