These terms apply to purchases made through the Kauniste online store at kauniste.com.

PRODUCTS AND PRICES

Product prices are shown in the online store and include applicable VAT where indicated.

Delivery costs are shown separately during checkout before you place your order. The available delivery methods and costs depend on the delivery destination.

We make every effort to present product colours and images as accurately as possible. Colours may vary slightly depending on the screen or device used to view the website.

Product availability and prices may change. Changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

ORDERS

When you place an order, you are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to process and deliver your order.

After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation by email. Please check the confirmation and contact us if you notice an error in your order information.

We reserve the right to cancel an order if a product is unavailable, there is an obvious error in the product information or price, or we have reasonable grounds to suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity. If an order that has already been paid is cancelled by us, the payment will be refunded.

PAYMENT

Available payment methods are displayed at checkout.

Payments are processed securely by the payment service providers available through our online store. Kauniste does not store complete payment card details.

DELIVERY

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and delivery costs are displayed during checkout.

We aim to dispatch orders within the delivery times stated on our website. Delivery times are estimates and may occasionally be affected by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Please make sure that the delivery information provided with your order is correct.

RETURNS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Most products purchased through our online store have a 14-day statutory right of withdrawal.

Detailed information about returns, return shipping costs, refunds and products excluded from the right of withdrawal can be found in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Products made or cut according to the customer's specifications, including fabrics cut to a requested length, are not covered by the right of withdrawal unless the product is faulty.

A return request can be submitted using the return function in our online store.

FAULTY OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Kauniste is responsible for defects in products in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.

If you receive a faulty, damaged or incorrect product, please contact us at shop@kauniste.com and include your order number and information about the problem.

Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights you have as a consumer.

PRODUCT INFORMATION

We aim to keep product descriptions, dimensions, materials, colours and other information as accurate as possible.

As many Kauniste products are made from natural materials, small variations in colour, texture or appearance may occur. Such natural variations are not necessarily product defects.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The content of kauniste.com, including Kauniste designs, patterns, illustrations, photographs, text, graphics, logos and other materials, is protected by applicable intellectual property rights.

Content from the website may not be reproduced, distributed or used for commercial purposes without prior permission from Kauniste or the relevant rights holder.

PRIVACY

Personal information collected through our online store is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Our online store is hosted by Shopify, which provides the e-commerce platform used to operate the store.

WEBSITE AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our website may contain links to third-party websites or use services provided by third parties.

We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of independent third-party websites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you use those services.

CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms when necessary, for example because of changes to our services or applicable legislation.

The terms applicable to an order are those in effect when the order is placed.

GOVERNING LAW

These Terms and purchases made through the Kauniste online store are governed by Finnish law.

If you are a consumer residing in another EU or EEA country, this choice of law does not deprive you of any mandatory consumer protection rights applicable in your country of residence.

DISPUTE RESOLUTION

If you have a problem with an order, please contact us first at shop@kauniste.com so that we can try to resolve the matter.

If a dispute cannot be resolved between Kauniste and the customer, a consumer may refer the matter to the Finnish Consumer Disputes Board after first contacting Consumer Advisory Services.

These Terms do not restrict a consumer's right to bring a matter before a competent court.
