Proper care will keep your items in good condition for you to enjoy. Caring for your textiles and goods can help extend their lifecycle, saving resources and adding to sustainability.
Below are a few simple guidelines for product care.
KITCHEN TOWELS
- Our kitchen towels absorb moisture well and dry fast. The linen is a long fiber which does not leave any lint on glassware, and the cotton fiber makes the towel practical to use. The towels get softer and more absorbent with wash and use.
- Our fabrics are printed with non-toxic inks and it's safe to use them without wash.
- Machine wash in 40 degrees, but if there are stains use 60 degrees wash.
- Do not use bleach and line dry.
- A kitchen towel is in everyday use in the kitchen, and therefore it can catch persistant stains. Try to add some laundry vinegar to wash; it opens the linen fibers allowing for a deep cleanse.
CUSHION COVERS
- Kauniste cushion covers can be washed in max. 40 degrees with a gentle cycle. Turn the cover inside out before wash.
- Your new cushion cover may have some creases. You can gently spray the surface with water and this will straighten the wrinkles.
- Never tumble dry or wash with bleach.
WOOD VENEER TRAYS
- Our trays are made from birch veneer with a melamine coating. They are easy to keep clean by wiping with a damp cloth and dish wash liquid.
- The trays are food safe, so you can use them with direct contact with food.
- You can wash the veneer trays in diswasher in up to 95 degrees celsius.
